Fees include all care and accommodation costs, food and drinks, heating, lighting, council tax, laundry facilities, cleaning of rooms and any other services provided by staff within their caring role. Food is supplied fresh (where possible) from local suppliers and is home cooked to provide a traditional healthy balanced diet. Special dietry requirements are met where required. Chiropody, Hair Dressing and Newsagent costs are extra.

Support services to the home include: G.P. and District Nurse access, Community Physiotherapy, Dentist and Optician.

Exercise classes are provided by Vitality trained professionals; all residents are assessed for capability prior to taking part. Other activities and regular entertainment is also provided, including musical entertainers, open day barbeques and in-house games, etc.

The local Church of England Clergy attend on the first Monday of every month and provide Holy Communion and a short service. Residents are supported in attending any religious services they wish outside of home, and other religious groups are contacted upon request of individual residents.

 

Data Protection / GDPR

We store and hold various quantities of information for both residents within the home and staff working at the home. This is information is only kept for the relevant periods of time, afterwhich this information is securely destroyed. All information stored about a person including personal details are both paper copies and electronic documents. Electronic documentation is stored on a secure computer netowrk and paper information is kept secure in lockable cabinates.
